WHAT IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT PREPARER (LDP)?
A Legal Document Preparer is certified to prepare documents, notarize documents, and file them with the Court on your behalf.
In order to be certified and regulated by several states, one must have significant, previous legal experience. After obtaining experience, an individual must pass a comprehensive exam and pass a thorough FBI background check.
PARALEGAL vs LEGAL DOCUMENT PREPARER
In most states, a paralegal is required to complete legal documents under the supervision of an attorney. In contrast, a Legal Document Preparer is certified to complete and file legal documents with the Court independently of an attorney.

Our Rates
Please note that our fees cover document drafting, formatting, and sometimes filing assistance. They exclude court filing fees, process server costs, or recording fees, which are billed or paid separately.
You may be required to provide case specific documents for the following:
Criminal: A BCI report is required prior to filing a reduction. You can obtain one via your states central law enforcement repository. Each state operates its own system under different agency names (such as State Police, Bureau of Investigation, or Department of Public Safety).
If you need assistance in locating your agency, please let us know.
Will/Trust: Identification, Social Security card, Bank Statements, Deeds, Insurance Policies, and Beneficiary Details are required.
